Pride in Excellence

Middle School

Rudzani International School Middle School serves students in grades 6-8 with approximate class sizes between 20 and 22 students. At this stage students are at an age when they are trying to make the transition from early puberty to mid-adolescence: this is a crucial period of personal, social, physical and intellectual development, a time of uncertainty and of questioning.

Middle School faculty is dedicated to fostering students’ curiosity, skill development, and desire to learn, while helping them cope with the challenges of teenagers. Our faculty and school leaders take into account the unique nature of their students and keep that nature at the heart of their decision-making. Its supportive, passionate, caring, and positive family ethos characterize the Middle School with high expectations for both academic achievement and behavior, and an emphasis on the positive self concept.

Middle school is devised to guide students in their search for a sense of belonging in the world around them. It also aims to help students develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills they need to participate actively and responsibly, in a changing and increasingly interrelated world. This means teaching them to become independent learners who can recognize relationships between school subjects and the world outside. It encourages them to learn to combine relevant knowledge, experience and critical thinking to solve authentic problems.
